MIA Aesthetics

Summary

MIA Aesthetics is a leading national provider of plastic surgery with locations throughout the country. Their new facility in Lewisville, Texas, is an 18,000-square-foot finish-out with six procedure/treatment rooms equipped with surgical lighting, high-level temperature and humidity control, universal continuous power backup systems, and other state-of-the-art features. Additionally, the facility contains seven pre-op holding rooms, eight pre-exam rooms, ten post-op exam rooms, seven doctors’ offices, seven recovery areas, a six-bay finance office, a doctors’ lounge, a patient lounge, and large main and post-op lobby areas.   

This project required major foundation work to correct warping of the roof joists, among other challenges. To ensure a successful build-out, PM Design Group provided survey, civil, and architectural services that included design development, construction documentation, and construction administration. We also brought in some of our consultants with advanced expertise in structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and engineering matters.
