Summary

Good data on all your stores and equipment leads to better decisions. We partnered with a restaurant client to survey more than 400 locations, collecting data on buildings and store equipment. Using the latest 3D laser technology, our experienced surveyors scanned each site. While scanning, we gathered complete equipment data, including make, model, and serial numbers. We also provided a 360-degree photo tour of each location so the client could see exactly what was at each location. The 3D scans and data collected were used to create as-built drawings including floor plans, elevations, and roof plans. In the AutoCAD files, we implemented an automated routine that inserted the equipment data using a numeric tag embedded in their CAD blocks. The equipment data was also extracted into a table on the drawings. The client was able to pull the equipment data into their tracking system utilized across all restaurants for lifecycle tracking, helping in their decision-making.
